  • Launched the Dahntay Jones Foundation in 2005 to help at-risk youth, and in June 2006 he donated $16,000 to Greenwood Elementary School in Hamilton, N.J., to cover the costs of upgrading their Success For All reading program.
  • One of his cousins is current Golden State Warriors’ Al Harrington.
  • Says if he wasn’t a basketball player he’d be in investment banking.
  • Did public service announcements for Memphis City Schools Reads, and Memphis City Schools Fight Free Fifty, which encourages MCS students to go 50 days without fighting in school.
  • Participated in the Grizzlies Tickets for Kids program with Dahntay’s Department of Defense.
