- 2003-04 All-Interview Team
- Scored 16 points and handed out career-high 16 assists on 2/21/03 vs. Milwaukee
- Led Sonics in assists and steals during 2002-03 season
- Recorded career highs in scoring (14.4 ppg), rebounds (5.4 rpg), assists (5.3 rpg), steals (1.81 spg) and field-goal percentage (50.8%) during 2001-02 season
- Along with Minnesota's Wally Szczerbiak, one of just two players to shoot better than 50% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and 80% from the free-throw line during 2001-02 season
- Led NBA in three-point percentage (47.6%) during 2000-01 season
- Selected All-Rookie Second Team in 1995-96 after averaging 10.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 2.9 apg
- Won the Nestle Crunch Slam Dunk Contest (at the 1996 NBA All-Star Weekend held in San Antonio at the Alamodome)
- Appeared in the 1996 NBA All-Star Rookie Game, scoring eight points, handing out four assists and collecting five steals
- Has appeared in 13 playoff games, averaging 8.9 points, 3.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 29.8 minutes in the postseason.

- He and wife, Erin, have a son, Quinn
- They are both active with San Antonio's Blue Ribbon Child Abuse Task Force (she is a member of the organization's executive
committee while he serves as the program's honorary chairman)
- Earned his degree in sociology from Oregon State
- An avid surfer
- Father Rick was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987 after playing 14 seasons in the NBA and ABA
- Brothers Jon (Milwaukee, Golden State, Atlanta, L.A. Lakers, Sacramento, Detroit,
Denver and Houston) and Drew (Atlanta, Golden State and Seattle) have both enjoyed NBA careers
- Oldest brother - Scooter - was a member of the 1988 NCAA Champion Kansas squad
- Active with the NBA Read to Achieve program
- Each summer participates in the Seeds of Peace camp (a camp based in Maine that is “dedicated to empowering young leaders from regions of conflict with the leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence”)
- Says he would give his right arm to be ambidextrous
