and "Hammer"... He and his wife, Tina, had a daughter, Rebekah Faith, on
April 25, 2004...In 2000, was named among 99 professional athletes as
"Good Guys in Sports" by The Sporting News, recognizing athletes for
outstanding character and exemplary civic responsibility...Majored in
history while at Florida...Member of the USA Basketball Team which
competed in the 1994 Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia...Moved to
Florida at age 10, after being born in Detroit, Mich....Has two
sisters...Has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua
County in Gainesville, Florida...Has helped club raise more than
$120,000 through The Sports Challenge, an annual event which pits
corporate sponsor teams with celebrity athletes.
