DRAFTED: Selected in the first round (10th overall pick) of the 2005 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers.



HOW ACQUIRED: Signed as a free agent on July 19, 2013.



2012-13 SEASON: Missed the entire 2012-13 season while recovering from bilateral bone bruises and a weakened cartilage state in both of his knees…underwent bilateral arthroscopic knee surgery on March 19, 2013.

PLAYOFF CAREER: In 74 postseason games (63 starts), averaging 9.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.49 blocks in 24.2 minutes per game while shooting .502 from the floor and .720 from the line…in the 2012 Playoffs, started all 12 games of the Lakers run to the Western Conference Semifinals, averaging 16.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.1 blocks in 37.6 minutes per game while shooting .477 from the floor and .783 from the line…had 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks in Game 1 of the First Round series vs. Denver on 4/29/12, tying the NBA-playoff record for blocks in a single game...during the 2011 Playoffs, started all 10 games of the Lakers run to the Western Conference Semifinals, averaging 14.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.40 blocks in 32.0 minutes per game while shooting .543 from the floor and .833 from the line…in the 2010 Playoffs, started all 23 games for the Lakers during their championship run, averaging 8.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 24.4 minutes per game while shooting .537 from the floor…had 21 points and 7 blocks in Game 2 of the NBA Finals vs. Boston on 6/6/10…During the 2009 Playoffs, appeared in all 23 games, with 18 starts, of the Lakers championship run, averaging 6.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 17.4 minutes per game…during the 2008 Playoffs, did not appear in any games for the Lakers during their run to the NBA Finals due to a subluxated patella in his left knee…in the 2007 Playoffs, appeared in all five games of the Lakers First Round series vs. Phoenix, averaging 4.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game while shooting .533 from the floor…during the 2006 Playoffs, appeared in one game of the Lakers First Round series vs. Phoenix.
