AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons and Oakland County schools are celebrating an inaugural season-long program – creating educational videos and recognizing the work of the district’s teachers and staff as Game Changers – when the Pistons face the Cleveland Cavaliers at The Palace of Auburn Hills tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons are all but certain to continue their playoff droughts. Wednesday night's matchup in Detroit could essentially serve as a knockout game for both clubs.

The Cavaliers (28-44) have closed within 4 1/2 games of Atlanta for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, while Detroit (26-44) is one game behind them. Cleveland is trying to avoid missing out on postseason play for a fourth straight year, while the Pistons haven't qualified since 2009.
