The Detroit Pistons mascot Hooper will be hosting a “Where’s Hooper?” scavenger hunt at various locations throughout metro Detroit during the month of October to give fans the opportunity to receive free and discounted tickets to the home opener at The Palace where the Pistons will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, October 29 at 8 p.m.
Beginning on the morning of Sunday, October 10, a timetable where clues can be found is posted here to lead people to Hooper’s location. A maximum of four clues will be posted with the last clue giving Hooper’s exact location.
Each day, a new clue will be posted to lead fans to Hooper at various hot spots and places throughout metro Detroit and southeast Michigan. The search for Hooper will occur daily, except for Pistons game nights on October 11, 13, 19 and 22, and will conclude the day prior to the home opener on Thursday, October 28.
Hooper will be at each destination for an hour where the first 25 people to find the Pistons mascot will receive a voucher to claim their free ticket to the home opener online with an opportunity to purchase additional seats at a discounted rate of $12 per ticket.
Those who arrive after the free ticket vouchers have been distributed will receive discount vouchers to the home opener or other various Pistons prizes.
To not miss out on any hints or chance at finding Hooper, fans are encouraged to follow throughout the day via the popular social media outlets the Pistons are part of. They can catch clues by becoming a fan of the Pistons on Facebook or following them on Twitter.
