Pistons and Sports Radio 1130 The Fan Announce Contract Extension

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that the club has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with its radio partner Sports Radio 1130 The Fan (WDFN). Tom Wilson, President of Palace Sports and Entertainment and the Pistons, and Dave Pugh, Regional Vice President/Market Manager of ClearChannel, made the joint announcement. The club’s radio station network throughout the state of Michigan will remain unchanged.

Under the agreement, WDFN will broadcast all 82 regular-season games as well as all preseason and postseason playoff contests. Pistons fans and WDFN listeners will receive expanded pregame coverage and exclusive postgame coverage, special weekly interviews with coaches and players and expanded Pistons coverage throughout each week of the NBA season. Each Pistons game throughout the season will also be re-broadcast later in the evening following the Pistons postgame show.

The Pistons will continue the broadcast production and sale of advertising time for all games under the agreement. Promotions for the Pistons and other entities of Palace Sports and Entertainment will air on all ClearChannel Stations throughout the Detroit Metro area.
