More recently, Shari's 4-year-old daughter, Piper, had her own favorite Pistons moment: meeting her hero, Hooper, and giving him such a huge hug that he almost fell over. The rewards for being a Detroit Pistons Crew Member (season ticket holder) just got substantially more appealing: TVs, vacations to Cancun or a road trip on Roundball One. On Monday, October 1, the Detroit Pistons began the second year of the Ultimate Crew Giveaway by randomly selecting their first two Crew Members to receive exclusive prizes. Every business day until November 2, the Pistons will draw two names from their database of full, half and mini-season ticket holders and present these Crew Members with some of the most unique prizes in sports.

The Pistons pre-season begins October 8 against Miami, while the home opener for the 2007-08 regular season is scheduled for November 4, when the Pistons host the Atlanta Hawks for a 7:30 p.m. game. Tickets for individual games, including Opening Night, go on-sale Saturday, October 6th at The Palace Box Office, online and at all TicketMaster outlets.
