Detroit Pistons Scheduled To Play In Reebok Vegas Summer League

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – July 1, 2005 – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the club will participate in the Reebok Vegas Summer League. The 16-team summer league will be held July 6-15 at COX Pavilion on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Current Pistons’ players Darko Milicic and Carlos Delfino are scheduled to play along with 2005 first round draft selection Jason Maxiell and second round picks Amir Johnson and Alex Acker. Center Andreas Glyniadakis, Detroit’s second round draft choice in 2003 is slated to play along with 2004 second round draft pick Rickey Paulding.

Two of Detroit’s games will be televised by NBA TV on a tape delay basis. The Pistons’s game vs. L.A. Clippers (July 11) will be aired on July 15, while their game vs. New Orleans (July 14) will be shown on July 20.
