Detroit Pistons Announce Single Games On-Sale

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. --- On Friday, September 17, 2010, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Detroit Pistons will make single game tickets for their 2010-11 campaign available. Tickets can be purchased at The Palace Box Office, online at www.pistons.com, by calling 248-377-0100 or at any TicketMaster outlet.

Tickets in various price ranges will be available at all outlets, with the exception of the most inexpensive seats in the building at $10. Fans looking to purchase tickets for all games at the $10 price range must visit The Palace Box Office on Friday. The $10 seats will be available at all points of sale beginning Saturday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m.

In unison with reduced pricing on season tickets packages for the 2010-11 campaign, the club has also reduced prices on individual game seats. Lower-bowl ticket pricing will start at $45 for all games with the exception of four premium night contests [11/17 vs. LA Lakers, 12/29 vs. Boston, 2/11 vs. Miami and 3/23 vs. Miami)]. Lower-bowl pricing for those games will start at $65 and a premium give-a-way item will be handed out each night.

Special promotional nights throughout the year include “Family Days” at every Sunday home game, where fans can receive four tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, and four Pistons’ give-a-way items for $65 in the 200-level and $165 in the 100-level as well as “Made In Detroit” Saturdays, where fans can purchase two tickets for $29 in the 200-level and $79 in the 100-level while also receiving an exclusive Kid Rock branded “Made In Detroit” t-shirt. Friday nights will be a popular night at The Palace this year with the introduction of “Four-Pack Fridays.” Fans can purchase four tickets for $44 in the 200-level or $94 in the 100-level, take part in a postgame shot on the Pistons’ court and be entered into a raffle to win a meet & greet opportunity with a Pistons player. Finally, the club will unveil “Way Back Wednesdays” this season for all Wednesday night games which will include throwback themes and throwback pricing on elements throughout the arena.

Highlights of the Pistons’ home schedule include two home meetings against 2010 NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami HEAT (February 11 and March 23), a single-game match-up with Kobe Bryant and the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers (November 17) and two home meetings with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Shaquille O’Neal and the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics (November 2 and December 29). Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic make one visit to The Palace (December 3), while former Piston Chauncey Billups will make his only return when the Denver Nuggets visit on January 26. Eastern Conference rival Chicago and newly acquired Carlos Boozer visit The Palace twice (December 26 and April 1) while Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns and Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs each visit once (January 22 and February 8, respectively). The No. 1 pick in this summer’s NBA Draft, John Wall, will bring his Washington Wizards team to The Palace on November 21 and March 6, while superstar guard Chris Paul leads the New Orleans Hornets into The Palace for their only visit on December 19.
