Welcome to the New Pistons.com

The Pistons’ roster could be undergoing some big changes this summer, so it’s appropriate that Pistons.com has had a facelift as well. Here’s a brief tour to help you find your favorite Pistons.com features.

Ticket Information

The ticket drop-down menu is still directly beneath the site header. There you’ll find specific pages for information on season tickets, mini-plans and the seating chart. All the vital ticket links are listed again at the bottom of the home page.

In the column to the right is the Ticket Center, which will be an easier way to access some of those pages, as well as find current ticket deals and special offers.

Pistons News & True Blue Pistons

The top story window is larger, and with more stories to choose from. Click the right arrow next to the four boxes beneath the window to scroll through more top stories.

If you’ve missed a couple of days and a story or news update has moved out of the top stories, you can find it in the “Pistons News” tab, along with a link to the entire news archive. For stories about the Pistons’ appearances in the community, click the adjoining “Pistons Care” tab.

Enhanced Video Content

Pistons.com will be collaborating with the Pistons broadcasting department more closely than ever before in 2010, which means plenty of video features and more video of interviews with Joe Dumars, coaches and players.

The site’s greatest video enhancement is the ability to watch clips inside the top story window. Other videos can be found in, you guessed it, the “Pistons Video” box beneath the top stories window.

Quick Hits

Visiting Pistons.com to quickly find out who leads the team in scoring or where they are in the standings? Look no further than the lower right side of the home page, where a three-tabbed box allows you to participate in polls, look up the Pistons’ statistical leaders and the Central Division standings.

To the left of that box, you can find new ways to enhance your Pistons fan experience. Drag the red scroll bar to find treats like Pistons phone applications and text messages, the Kids Crew, merchandise and the Pistons’ official Facebook and Twitter pages. Other fan goodies are sure to follow and will be displayed prominently there.

Google Search

Lose track of something you wanted to see before the site changed? Use the new Pistons.com search engine in the upper right side of home page.
