The 500, $12 tickets will be available ONLY at the Palace Box Office. NO Internet sales, NO phone sales and NO TicketMaster sales will be made for the $12 seats during the on-sale. Purchases will be limited to TWO TICKETS per person for the $12 tickets. The parking lot at The Palace will open at 6:00 a.m.
Single tickets at $70, $55 and $45 will also go on sale at 10:00 a.m. at the box office. These price levels will also be available via the traditional ticket sources including www.TicketMaster.com, TicketMaster outlets, www.pistons.com or by calling The Palace at 248-377-0100.
To be fair to those on-site, the Pistons will hold a random drawing to determine order for buying tickets. Numbers will be passed out at 8:30 a.m. outside the West Atrium, until 9:30 a.m. Fans will be let into the building when they have a number. A number DOES NOT guarantee a ticket. One number per person and fans must be 12 years of age or older to receive a number.
At 9:30 a.m., the Pistons will pull a number and the person holding that number will be the first in line to purchase tickets. From that starting point, those fans with sequential numbers will form the line. For example, if #0123 is drawn that will be the first person in line. Next in line will be #0124, #0125 and so on. Palace staff will begin lining fans as soon as the number is drawn.
The Pistons will host a random number drawing to purchase tickets for each round of the 2006 NBA Playoffs.
