Detroit Pistons in Eastern Conference Finals for Sixth Year in a Row; $24 ECF Tickets Available Thursday, May 15 ONLY at The Palace
ECF: Make It Six Straight

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - At noon on Thursday, May 15, the Pistons will put approximately 1,000 (500 for each game) tickets priced at $24 apiece on sale for Games One and Two of the 2008 Eastern Conference Finals. They will play either the Boston Celtics or the Cleveland Cavaliers but game days and times are still TBD.

A lottery will be held to determine the first person in line and tickets will be sold until supplies last. The lottery drawing will take place at approximately 11:45 a.m. and fans MUST BE IN LINE before 11:30 a.m. to guarantee a ticket for the lottery.

This year marks the sixth in a row that the Pistons have made an appearance in the conference finals, something no other team in the NBA can claim. The six straight appearances also set a franchise record. Before this current streak, the Pistons appeared in five straight EC Finals from 1987-91.

In what has become an Eastern Conference Finals tradition, the Pistons will hold a random number lottery draw to determine the order for buying tickets. Numbers will be passed out beginning at 10:00 a.m. outside the West Atrium. Fans will be let into the building when they have a number. A number DOES NOT guarantee a ticket. One number per person and fans must be 12 years of age or older to receive a number.

At 11:45 a.m., the Pistons will pull a number and the person holding that number will be the first in line to purchase tickets for the 2008 Eastern Conference Finals. From that starting point, those fans with sequential numbers will form the line.

The selected $24 tickets will be available ONLY at The Palace Box Office. NO Internet sales and NO TicketMaster sales will be made for the $24 seats. Purchases of the $24 tickets will be limited to FOUR TICKETS per person TOTAL. All other playoff ticket price levels are currently available online, by phone, at all TicketMaster outlets and at The Palace Box Office. Questions regarding playoff ticket availability can call 248-377-0100.
