The week-long shoot will take the team to various locations including downtown Detroit and Macomb County to the west side of Michigan at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and northern Michigan at the Harbor Springs/Petoskey Lighthouse. The majority of the shoots will be open to the public.

"The whole organization is going Back to Work, and we are a part of that," said Dance Team Director Rebecca Girard. "The calendar is always one of the most popular giveaways of the year and we want to make sure we will have it available near the beginning of the season and for the holidays. This marks the third consecutive year that we have put together a swimsuit calendar and it is always a great experience. We are obviously very excited and looking forward to the upcoming season."

The Automotion Swimsuit Calendar is scheduled as one of the November 2005 giveaways. Crew Members (Pistons season ticket holders) will get a sneak preview of the calendar at the Opening Tip party, scheduled for the third week in October.

Members of Automotion will sign a number of the calendars and autographed copies will be available at all Palace Locker Room stores. Everything but Water, the retail store at the Somerset Collection that will be providing the swimsuits for the shoot, will also have calendars available and members of Automotion will be on hand in November and December to sign copies. Calendars will also be available on the Web at www.pistons.com.

Opening Night is scheduled for November 2, when the Pistons host Allen Iverson, Chris Webber and the Philadelphia 76ers for an 8:00 p.m. game. The Pistons will hold a lottery for a select number of remaining Opening Night tickets.
