AUDITION DATES
Monday, August 1st (Call backs on Tuesday, August 2nd) Finals Rehearsal on Wednesday, August 3rd, FINALS Show on Thursday, August 4th

AUDITION NOTE
The Detroit Pistons will once again host a LIVE performance component as part of the audition process. All finalists are required to participate in rehearsals and perform in order to be considered for the team. The announcement of the team will take place LIVE at the end of the show. Friends and Family are welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the audience. Date of the performance will be announced soon and location is still to be determined.
  • Day One: First elimination and Finalists chosen
  • Day Two: Finalists Interviews and Rehearsal for Audition Finals
  • Day Three: Finalists Appearance, Interviews and Rehearsals
  • Day Four: Automotion Audition Finals/Final Team Announced at the end of the show!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
  • A $25.00 audition fee is required to register
  • An entertainment/business resume and recent photo is required. (Photos will not be returned.)
  • A select Pistons game day ticket is included in the price of the audition package. No refunds.

PRE-AUDITION CLINIC – Monday, July 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the Palace
  • Clinic recommended for all candidates! (Click here to register for the clinic and auditions!)

AGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Female candidates welcome - 19 and older (Must be 19 by October 1, 2011)
  • Proof of ID required, I.e. birth certificate, drivers license, state id, etc.

PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS
AUDITION LOCATION/DIRECTIONS
  • Day One: Palace Sports & Entertainment – Arena/Enter through West Atrium
  • Day Two/Three/Four: Location to be announced

ATTIRE
  • Day One: DRESS TO IMPRESS:
  • Sports bras (no body suits), shorts, tights and shoes required.
  • Neat and clean audition appearance. Full makeup and styled hair preferred.
  • NOTE: Attire for Finalists will be discussed on Day Two of the auditions.

COMMITMENT INFORMATION
  • Team rehearsals – Monday & Thursdays Evenings - August through April (or until end of playoffs)
  • Pre-Season Training Sessions & Business Seminars
  • Photo Shoot
  • Pre-season games - October
  • 41+ Regular Season home games – Schedule available at the end of August
  • Pre & Post game activities – to be determined
  • Public appearances & events – entire season, length of contract
  • Philanthropy events – entire season, length of contract
  • Possible playoff games – April through to be determined

BUSINESS/DANCE CRITERIA
  • Audition tips
  • Must be well rounded, strong, honest, and loyal candidates
  • Must have solid business professionals with strong Public Relations; with the ability to show an extreme level of enthusiasm, confidence and poise in public
  • Must have strong business skills; including detailed and thorough administrative skills (must have daily access to email and vm)
  • Must have a strong and determined work ethic; willing to work hard at all times
  • Must be physically fit and have strong athletic skills and endurance
  • Must be able to master a variety of different dances styles; including hip hop, jazz, precision pom
  • Must be flexible and strong; willing to learn and master new dance skills
  • Must be able to learn choreography quickly and handle receiving constructive criticism
  • Must be able to handle a high level of performance pressure
  • Must be a strong team player and master consistence teamwork skills
