Third Annual Ceciliaville Golf Open at Pine Knob Golf Course

Detroit Pistons players Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince and Elden Campbell are among the golfers expected to tee off at the Third Annual Ceciliaville Golf Open at Pine Knob Golf Course in Clarkston, Michigan on Monday, August 16.

The golf outing aims to raise funds for the St. Ceciliaville athletic program in Detroit. NBA Legend George Gervin will also be present to team up with former Pistons players Joe Dumars and Rick Mahorn to help the city of Detroit. Other NBA stars and executives, including Detroit Pistons Director of Player Personnel Scott Perry and legendary coach and Detroit basketball icon Will Robinson, will join Gervin, who is a native of Detroit.

In addition to athletic skills, the St. Ceciliaville athletic program offers counseling and community activities in their effort to build good citizenship. The funds raised at the event will be used to assist the St. Ceciliaville athletic program add academic skill development to the program. The program has helped a myriad of talented athletes hone their skills, both on and off the basketball court, since its inception in the late 1960s.
