| The Detroit Pistons' Dance Team - Automotion is a group of enthusiastic, intelligent and talented dancers who perform at all 41 Detroit Pistons home games. The 19 member team performs high energy dance routines during time-outs. Automotion members are not just dancers, but positive ambassadors and spiritleaders for the Pistons organization. Not only can you see this amazing team light up the court with their dynamic shows, but you can see them making a difference in the community by participating in numerous appearances each year. The team is involved in many community and charity events such as the Read to Achieve project, the American Heart Association-Heart Walk, Arts & Apples festival, Capachin Soup Kitchen, Detroit Boo Zoo, Rochester Christmas Parade, and the Detroit International Auto Show just to name a few. In addition to their commitment to the Pistons, the members have a wide variety of occupations. Automotion features two medical students, an automotive product engineer, advertising sales assistant, personal banker, massage therapist, dance instructors and several other students and business professionals. Collectively there is over 240 years of dance, cheer, and entertainment experience on the team. Automotion proudly lives by their team motto 'Make a Difference'. You can find them living up to their motto by working hard at rehearsals and games; and acting as positive role models throughout the community.
