The NBA announced today that New Orleans Hornets forward Ryan Anderson will compete in the 2013 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest as a part of All-Star Saturday Night. This marks the second consecutive year that Anderson will compete in the three-point contest.
Anderson leads the NBA with 147 three-point field goals made and is shooting 39.7% from behind the arc. The 2011-12 Most Improved Player, who led the league with 166 three-pointers made last season as a member of the Orlando Magic, has knocked down at least seven three-pointers in a game on four separate occasions this season, including tying a career-high with eight three-pointers made against the Phoenix Suns on November 23, 2012.
