NEW ORLEANS – NBA All-Star 2014 is coming to New Orleans and fans looking to be part of the excitement will have the chance to attend a variety of events being held in the area Feb. 13-16. Beginning today at 10 a.m. CST/11 a.m. EST, tickets for the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge and NBA All-Star Jam Session will go on sale. Tickets for both events start at $10 and are available on Ticketmaster.com and at the New Orleans Arena Box Office.
NBA BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge – BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge provides fans with an opportunity to watch the NBA’s newest stars in action. For the third year in a row, the two competing teams will consist of nine rookies and nine sophomores. The game is scheduled to take place on Friday, Feb. 14, at 8 p.m. CST at the New Orleans Arena.
NBA All-Star Jam Session – NBA All-Star Jam Session is the premier fan event during NBA All-Star. The four-day, family-friendly experience will transform the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center into the world’s largest interactive basketball theme park. With non-stop NBA All-Star entertainment for all ages, Jam Session is THE PLACE for fans to shoot, score, and slam just like their favorite NBA and WNBA players and legends. Jam Session provides fans with a chance to enjoy the NBA like never before and gain unique and up-close access to NBA and WNBA players and legends.
