HORNETS INVITE FANS OUT FOR HORNETS DAY AT AUDUBON ZOO
First 500 fans will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming Hornets game

The Hornets have teamed up with Audubon Nature Institute to host the Hornets Day at Audubon Zoo (6500 Magazine St. in Uptown) on Sunday, March 11 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Doors open at 10:00 a.m.). This fun-filled day will feature appearances by Hornets forwards Carl Landry and Al-Farouq Aminu, live music, performances by the Honeybees, Hornets Drum Line and Stingers, the Hornets Bookmobile presented by Shell, the Hornets Mathmobile presented by Chevron and interactive games and contests for the entire family.
The first 500 Zoo visitors on Sunday will receive a pair of free tickets to an upcoming Hornets home game. In addition, kids who sign up for a paid membership to Jr. Hornets will receive either a pair of passes to Audubon Zoo or a pair of tickets to an upcoming Hornets game.
In addition, Hornets season ticket holders were e-mailed a coupon to receive a discount at the gate on Zoo admission of $3 off each regular adult ticket and $2 off regular children's admission.
