The New Orleans Hornets will host the 2012 Honeybees Finals on Sunday, July 22, at Generations Hall at 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.
Thirty-six Honeybee hopefuls have been selected from auditions in Biloxi, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Contestants will spend the week leading up to Finals participating in Honeybee Work Shops, including learning new choreography, participating in a boot camp led by Honeybee fitness trainers and further evaluation that will allow the judges to learn more about each finalist..
In addition to performances from all 36 finalists, the event, hosted by Hornets emcee Nicole, will include a performance by the Hornets junior hip hop dance team, the Stingers, live music by DJ Raj Smoove and an appearance by Hugo.
