The team will be coached by first-year Hornets assistant coach Mike Malone.

Twenty-two NBA teams, including 11 that appeared in the 2010 NBA Playoffs, will compete in this year’s NBA Summer League. For the second consecutive year, a team of NBA Development League Select players will also participate in the action taking place at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

This year, NBA TV will air the full 58-game NBA Summer League schedule, including 39 games live, along with offering live daily studio programming with NBA GameTime. The complete package will be $14.95 for access to all 58 games on a live basis, as well as on a video-on-demand basis for up to one week following the conclusion of the league’s final game. The Hornets will have all four of their five games broadcast live on NBA TV, including the July 16th game against #1 pick John Wall and the Washington Wizards.
