HORNETS WAIVE ALABI, WRIGHT

The New Orleans Hornets have waived center Solomon Alabi and guard Chris Wright, General Manager Dell Demps announced today.
Alabi (7’1”, 252) played in three of the Hornets eight preseason outings averaging 0.7 points and 1.7 rebound in six minutes per game. Wright (6’1”, 209) played in two preseason games with Hornets, averaging 1.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in six minutes per game.
New Orleans’ roster now stands at 14 players.
