January 4, 2013

The New Orleans Hornets will host an All-Star balloting event with forwards Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson at the Aaron’s location in Marrero (1965 Barataria Blvd., 504.347.7703) on Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Davis and Anderson will be on hand to thank fans for their votes for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston, Texas. The event is free and open to the public.

Fans that vote on the day of the event and can show proof of their votes will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Davis and Anderson, as well as get autographs from the players.

Votes can be submitted via text by sending ANDERSON, DAVIS and GORDON to 6-9-6-2-2. Twitter voting also allows fans to tweet a vote for one player each day throughout the All-Star balloting period. The tweet must include a player’s first and last name, along with hash tag #NBABALLOT. Facebook voting will allow fans to fill out one full ballot (three frontcourt and two guards from each conference) per day, through a custom application on Facebook.

Balloting will conclude on Jan. 14, and starters will be announced live on TNT on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.

The 62nd NBA All-Star Game will be exclusively televised on TNT from Toyota Center on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
