Five things to know about the Pelicans on April 15

1)      It comes down to this. New Orleans (44-37) will play the most significant regular season game on paper in its 13-year history tonight, with a win guaranteeing a spot in the playoffs. The Pelicans host the Spurs at 7 p.m. The only other way NOLA can get in the postseason (for the first time since 2011) is if the Thunder (44-37) lose to the Timberwolves in Minnesota. That game is also at 7.

2)      On a team off day, Monty Williams held a special session with the media Tuesday, providing insight into his team’s position and Wednesday’s big game.

3)      Fans should wear red to the Smoothie King Center tonight, matching the red jerseys the Pelicans will be wearing against the Spurs. Tickets are available here.

5)      Tuesday’s Black & Blue Report featured a visit from Pelicans.com writer Jim Eichenhofer and ESPN Radio’s Mark Kestecher. Today is Wesley Wednesday with Pelicans TV analyst David Wesley.
