Listen to Hornets GM Jeff Bower discuss the team's NBA Europe Live trip

New Orleans' unbeaten preseason continued in Berlin, with the Hornets improving to 4-0. The Hornets led 18-0 just 5 1/2 minutes into the game and built a 45-9 second-quarter lead, prior to the Wizards cutting into the deficit in the second half.

Rasual Butler was unconscious from the field, going 8-for-12 from the floor (3-for-3 on treys) and posting a game-best 20 points. James Posey (17 points) and Hilton Armstrong (10 points, 8 rebounds) also turned in nice outings off the bench for Byron Scott.

Julian Wright started in place of David West, who was rested by Byron Scott and did not play. Unfortunately, Wright sustained a sprained right ankle in the first quarter and did not return. The severity of the injury was not immediately available.

The second game of the Hornets' NBA Europe Live trip is Friday in Barcelona, also against Washington. The game will be televised live by ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m. Central time.
