>One of the many reasons USA Basketball wanted Chris Paul on its roster was the 6-footer's ability to fill a distributing role as a conventional point guard. This morning in China, the three-year NBA veteran’s floor game was on full display, as he handed out a team-best seven assists in a 120-84 exhibition victory over Lithuania.
Paul also finished with four rebounds and two steals, while scoring four points on 2-for-5 shooting.
Lithuania’s roster featured two relatively familiar names, including current Denver Nuggets forward Linas Kleiza and former NBA guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, who played two years in the league for Indiana and Golden State.
