Hornets.com recently scoured the Internet to see what other websites are projecting New Orleans to do with its first-round pick in the NBA Draft. The Hornets have the No. 21 overall choice in the 2009 draft, but do not have a second-round selection. All quotes are provided by the respective websites. As of this morning, here are the players each website is projecting the Hornets to select with the 21st pick during the Thursday, June 25 draft:

ESPN.com: DeJuan Blair, power forward, Pittsburgh
“Blair has a lot of admirers in the lottery, but concerns about the health of his knees have caused him to slide in draft evaluations. I doubt he would fall past New Orleans. The team is dire need of toughness and rebounding, and Blair would provide both. There's just way too much upside to pass on here.”

Inside Hoops: Gerald Henderson, shooting guard, Duke
“A versatile, strong, quick, multi-talented guard who is as good defensively as offensively, but must keep improving outside shot.”

SI.com: Tyler Hansbrough, power forward, North Carolina
“They need to package this pick in a salary dump, but if no reasonable trade develops, the Hornets will seek instant frontcourt help from this hard-working college star. New Orleans can't afford to invest in a long-term project, so Hansbrough makes sense here.”
