Last week, I was among a group of about 40 NOLA media members who were invited to attend a pair of interview sessions with Hornets team president Hugh Weber and Hornets executive officer of the board Chad Shinn. The conversation was fascinating on a number of different levels, with Weber and Shinn discussing various team-related topics.
I plan to delve deeper into Weber and Shinns comments over the next few weeks, starting with todays Hornets Insider article that addresses the national medias coverage of the team. There are several other topics that I am planning to touch on soon, such as the luxury tax, the status of naming rights for the New Orleans Arena, social-networking usage by Hornets players and more.
