New Orleans will try to even its first-round series at one game apiece tonight in Denver, in a second straight late-night tip-off for Hornets fans living in the Central time zone. Like Sunday's Game 1, this evening's game is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:40 p.m. Central.
While Game 3 is set as a noon Central tip-off on Saturday, the start times for Game 4 and Game 5 remain uncertain. Both games' start times will be determined by what takes place in other first-round playoff series.
In the simplest terms, if the Lakers sweep the Jazz, Game 4 of Nuggets-Hornets will tip off Monday at 8:30 p.m. Central time and be broadcast by TNT. If the Jazz can win one of the next two games against the Lakers, Monday's Game 4 in the New Orleans Arena will begin at 7:30 and aired by NBA TV.
If necessary, Game 5 of Hornets-Nuggets will begin at 9:30 Central (8:30 Denver time), unless both the Cavaliers-Pistons and Hawks-Heat series end in four-game sweeps. If Cleveland and Atlanta sweep, Game 5 of Hornets-Nuggets will tip off at 8 p.m. Central.
