New Orleans starting small forward Peja Stojakovic (right groin strain) did not practice Tuesday at the Alario Center, prior to the team departing to Oklahoma City. The Hornets will visit the Thunder at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Ford Center, the Hornets temporary home during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons.
Stojakovics health status will be further evaluated Wednesday morning during the teams shootaround in OKC. The 12-year NBA veteran has not missed a game during the entire 2009-10 regular season due to injury; his only two absences from action were a result of attending to a personal matter Nov. 29-Dec. 1. James Posey started in Stojakovics place during road games at Sacramento and the Lakers.
· ESPN has dropped the Hornets Wednesday, March 17 game at Golden State from its national broadcast schedule. The network replaced it with Milwaukee at the Los Angeles Clippers. New Orleans visit to Oakland will remain a 9:30 p.m. (Central) tip-off. It will not be televised locally by the Hornets and Cox Sports, but Golden States TV coverage is available via NBA League Pass or League Pass online. New Orleans trip to Denver the following night, March 18, remains on TNTs schedule, likely the final national TV appearance for the Hornets of the regular season.
