Hornets fans who've been clamoring for more national TV exposure, we've got good news: New Orleans' game at Detroit on Sunday, March 16 has been added to ABC's schedule. The network previously scheduled Dallas at Miami as its national game that day, but opted to switch to New Orleans at Detroit. As a result, the time of the game in Detroit has been moved up from 5 p.m. Central to 2:30.
If you remember back to the summer, New Orleans only had two national TV games, but one of them (Nov. 7 at Portland) was yanked after Greg Oden was ruled out for the season. However, ESPN added the Feb. 29 home game vs. Utah. The club's first ESPN appearance was Jan. 11 vs. Miami.
