Share 1-on-1: Phoenixs Robin Lopez
By: Will McClaran,

December 4, 2008 caught up with Phoenix Suns rookie Robin Lopez prior to Wednesdays game at the New Orleans Arena. Lopez was the 15th overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, selected five spots after his twin brother, Brook Lopez (New Jersey Nets): What would you say has been the biggest adjustment(s) for you in your rookie season?
Lopez: I think a lot of people are making better decisions at a much faster rate. For example, Steve Nash and Chris Paul, theyll just think on the fly. Have you gravitated toward any of the veterans on the squad, or have any of them given you some words of wisdom that have really helped you out?
Lopez: Of course Shaq, being a big man has been very helpful, hes kind of taken me aside and prepared me for whenever he steps down for me to hopefully be the center of the future for the Phoenix Suns. Grant Hill is also full of advice; hes been here awhile and he has plenty of experiences to share. During a recent telecast of a New Jersey Nets game, your twin brother, Brook, claimed that he had gotten a higher SAT score than you. Is that true?
Lopez: No, thats not true. Thats not true at all. I got a 1,220 on the original SAT that was out of 1,600. I think he got 11-something. Who would win in a game of 1-on-1 between you and your brother Brook?
Lopez: I dont know, thats tough. It would depend on how hes feeling behind the arc. Because when hes hitting from behind the arc, its hard to stop him. I hear that youre quite a big comic book fan. Which comic book character do you think best describes your game?
Lopez: Id have to say Robin just because he has a lot to prove. He goes out there trying to prove himself, just like me, and hes always calculating.
