Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans to miss game due to illness

UPDATE: Tentatively, the Pelicans are listing Anthony Morrow and Al-Farouq Aminu as the new starters at shooting guard and small forward, respectively.
The New Orleans Pelicans will be without their starting shooting guard and small forward Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, both due to illness. About an hour prior to tip-off, the Pelicans announced that Tyreke Evans and Eric Gordon will not play against the team’s division rivals.
New Orleans (26-37) has won three straight games with Evans in the starting lineup, after the Pelicans had dropped the first three Evans starts at Phoenix, the Clippers and Sacramento. Already short-handed due to the injury absences of Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson and Jason Smith, New Orleans will only have a total of 10 players available tonight against Memphis.
