NBA Summer League1) Requests from coaches and teammates for Darius Miller to be more assertive on offense were heeded in a big way yesterday, as the second-year small forward dropped in a team-high 23 points. It wasn’t enough for the Pelicans to overcome an early double-figure deficit, however, in an 87-82 defeat against the Nuggets. New Orleans was eliminated in the first-ever Las Vegas summer league tournament game.
