Five things to know about the Pelicans on Oct. 17


1) The team arrived in Tulsa yesterday and is holding a shootaround in the city’s BOK Center this morning. Tip-off of the Pelicans-Thunder preseason game will be at 7 p.m. Jason Smith won’t play for New Orleans.

3) The Pelicans (4-0) and Thunder (3-0) are among only three remaining NBA teams who are still undefeated in the preseason. Chicago (4-0) is the other unbeaten.
