Five things to know about the Pelicans on Nov. 13


1) New Orleans slipped to 3-5 overall on Tuesday, losing 116-95 to the Lakers in Los Angeles. The Pelicans traveled to Salt Lake City after the game, arriving around 2 a.m. New Orleans will face Utah (0-8) at 8 p.m. Central. Tune in to Fox Sports New Orleans or the Pelicans Radio Network to follow the action.

2) The Pelicans signed NBA veterans Lou Amundson and Josh Childress on Tuesday. Amundson made his Pelicans debut in the Lakers loss, while Childress did not play but was in uniform.

3) On Tuesday, the NBA All-Star host committee named Rita Benson LeBlanc and Avery Johnson ambassadors for the mid-February event.
