Five things to know about the Pelicans on Dec. 2
1) New Orleans posted an exciting 103-99 win at New York on Sunday, but it came at the cost of losing star power forward Anthony Davis to a fractured left hand. Ryan Anderson’s 31 points led the Pelicans to their second straight road win, upping their record to 8-8 on the season.
2) Read more on Davis’ initial reaction to the injury. His timetable to return is TBD.
3) Listen to today’s Black & Blue Report at noon Central (and any time thereafter) for Sean Kelley’s one-on-one interview with Davis in the Madison Square Garden postgame locker room. 4) For the second straight season, Davis suffered an injury less than 24 hours before New Orleans was scheduled to play a game in his hometown of Chicago. The Pelicans are at the Bulls tonight at 7 p.m. Central. There will be no local Pelicans TV or radio broadcast, but you can follow the action on Pelicans.com, as well as through Twitter at @PelicansNBA or from the site’s writer @Jim_Eichenhofer. Chicago’s live broadcasts of the game are available via NBA League Pass and NBA.com’s free audio League Pass service.
