Five things to know about the Pelicans on Aug. 7


1) Check out the full 2013-14 regular season schedule for the New Orleans Pelicans here. It was released just after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

2) Read a list of 20 of the most notable Pelicans games in 2013-14, starting with the Oct. 30 home opener vs. Indiana. Over the next few days on Twitter, Pelicans writer Jim Eichenhofer will be asking for responses to the question "Which Pelicans home games are you most looking forward to and why?" We'll use many of the responses on during our countdown to the 2013-14 season.

3) New Orleans promises to be one of the most intriguing teams in the league next season, but its February docket in particular – including the 2014 All-Star Game – should be uniquely memorable.

4) The Pelicans announced the details of their half-season and 12-game ticket plans Tuesday.
