A native of Indianapolis, Heather joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment in 1999 as a Premium Services Manager in the newly-formed Premium Services Department while the organization prepared to move into Conseco Fieldhouse. During that time, Heather assisted in the creation and development of the organization's first endeavor into the premium seating and suite facet of the sports and entertainment industry. In July 2002, Heather was named Senior Premium Services Manager and become the Director of Premium Services during the summer of 2003. The merging of the Ticket Services and Premium Services Departments in July 2005 elevated Heather to her current role of Director of Premium & Ticket Services where she oversees the daily operations and staff of that department. While obtaining a degree in sport administration from Ball State University, Heather was actively involved with the University's Sports Marketing Department and president of Delta Zeta Sorority.

Eddie Bird is in his eighth year with Pacers Sports & Entertainment as a Premium Services Manager. Eddie attended Indiana State University on a full basketball scholarship and graduated in 1992 with a bachelor’s of science in sports and recreation. In the summer of 1991, after a try out with the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, Eddie played professionally in Clearwater, Fla. Also that same summer, he was drafted into the Continental Basketball Association. Eddie worked for Indianapolis’ Department of Parks and Recreation but was interested in pursuing his career in a more sports-oriented field. In 1999, he was hired as the first Premium Services Manager and began working with the Indiana Pacers in Market Square Arena. Eddie and his wife Susan have three children, Brandon, Samantha and Brian.

Bethanie Smith is currently in her fifth year with Pacers Sports & Entertainment. A native of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Bethanie is a 2002 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in sports management. Bethanie served as an intern with PS&E’s Sponsorship Sales Department before becoming a Premium Services Coordinator in August 2002. Bethanie recently acquired the position of Premium Services Manager in July of 2006. |

This is Dave’s first year working for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Dave is a native of Indianapolis and currently resides in Carmel. Dave began his work at PS&E in April of 2007 and graduated from Ball State University in May of 2007 with a degree in Sport Administration. For the past two years Dave has worked as a student assistant in the Ball State Athletics Communications & Marketing Department. He also spent the summer of 2006 as a Sales & Marketing Intern for the RCA Tennis Championships. Prior to joining PS&E, he worked Guest Relations for the 2006-07 Indianapolis Colts.

Although Cameron Nelson is in her first year as a Ticket Services Coordinator for PS&E, she is not new to the sports’ industry. Cameron graduated in 2006 with a BS in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee. While at UT, Cameron worked with the Tennessee Athletic Marketing Department and Men’s Basketball. She also completed a year long Community Relations internship with the Charlotte Bobcats and was an integral part of the 2007 NCAA Men’s Final Four where she was the Media Relations assistant. Prior to her new position, Cameron spent 4 months in Sales with the Pacers. She is looking forward to her new role and growing her career with the Indiana Pacers. |
