Warriors 126, Pacers 107
END RESULT
Just when it looked like the Pacers would get their first long road trip of the season off to a solid start, things fell apart and a 13-point third-quarter lead disintegrated in the whirlwind of Monta Ellis' 45 points as the Warriors put up 75 in the second half and rallied to beat visiting Indiana 126-107 Monday night in ORACLE Arena.IMPACT
The Pacers lost for the sixth time in seven games to fall to 6-9 overall, 2-4 on the road and 2-3 against Western Conference opponents. The Warriors snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 6-10.QUOTABLE
TURNING POINTS
The Pacers jumped off to a quick start, leading 39-25 early in the second quarter but the Warriors countered with a 16-3 run to cut the lead to 42-41. The Pacers maintained the lead but were just 57-51 at the break despite shooting 55 percent from the field in the first half. After coming out of the locker room hot, opening a 66-53 lead, the Pacers went cold offensively and flat defensively as the Warriors seized momentum and eventually control. They bridged the third and fourth periods with a 19-2 run that built a 97-85 lead and pushed it to 106-91.
That's when the Pacers had their last opportunity as Mike Dunleavy draw a charge that fouled out Ellis and Danny Granger followed with a 3-pointer that cut the deficit to 106-97 with 5:27 left but Corey Maggette stepped into the go-to role and scored the game's next six points to put it away.
