END RESULT

When the Sixers matched down, they couldn't match up with the Pacers' small lineup.

Starting a small group with Troy Murphy at center and four perimeter players that ultimately took Philadelphia's big men out of the game, the Pacers dominated the second half defensively and pulled out a 109-98 victory Monday before 10,579 in Wachovia Center.

Danny Granger scored 26 with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Pacers, but Dahntay Jones and Brandon Rush combined for 10 in a row down the stretch when the Pacers put the game away.

IMPACT

The Pacers split their home-and-home mini-series with the Sixers, improving to 16-29 overall and 6-18 on the road. They've won consecutive road games for the first time since mid-November and three of five after a nine-game losing streak. Philadelphia had a two-game win streak snapped and dropped to 15-29 overall, 7-15 at home.
