END RESULT

While enjoying the moment, the Pacers also got nice little glimpse into the future Friday night. Rookie forward Tyler Hansbrough scored 21 points and second-year center Roy Hibbert celebrated his 23rd birthday with 20 -- career highs for both young big men -- as the Pacers snapped a six-game losing streak with a solid 107-91 victory over the New Jersey Nets before 12,175 Friday in Conseco Fieldhouse.

IMPACT

With 10 losses in 11 games coming in, this was a much-needed victory for the Pacers (7-13), who have another streak to snap Saturday night as they've lost six in a row on the road heading into Washington. The Nets, who opened the season with an NBA-record 18 consecutive losses, dropped to 2-21.
