Reggie Miller 2001‑2002 Season
1 / 10For the second straight year, Reggie Miller led the NBA in free throw percentage, shooting .911 from the line. While Reggie’s scoring average dropped to 16.5 points per game during the regular season, in the playoffs he raised his game again, averaging 23.6 ppg and giving the number one seeded Nets all they could handle. Miller added to his “Mr Clutch” credentials by hitting a 38-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime against the eventual East champions. While the Pacers would not win the series, it was clear Reggie still had something left in the tank.
