The Pacers Sports & Entertainment ticket sales staff has been in 2015-16 Season Ticket sales training sessions this week and, today, they got a surprise visit from forward Paul George.
With PG arriving in the back of the room unbeknownst to the staffers, Pacers Vice President of Ticket Sales Strategy Derek Throneburg introduced PG by saying, "We're rolling out this campaign and you guys saw the hashtag #PGreturns. Why don't you guys turn around and welcome Paul George."
PG walked to the front amidst loud cheering and stopped to talk to the group for a couple minutes about the 2015-16 season tickets renewal campaign. He let them know he was excited to get back on the court and to work with sales staff on the #PGreturns season ticket renewal campaign. The hashtag #PGreturns is being used throughout the season ticket renewal campaign to encourage folks to come back next season along with PG.
Before PG left, he had everyone get together for an epic selfie with the sales staff.
In the back of the photo, you can see sales staffer Tom Pritchard holding up a poster with an image of PG on it. That poster is a limited edition two-sided that has been sent to current season ticket holders as the first part of the season ticket renewal campaign. On one side, the poster shows a serious-looking PG next to his own words of "When the time comes and my number is called, there is no doubt in my mind I'm coming back better." At the bottom, it has #PGreturns and the words, "Will you be there?"
The other side of the poster shows an action shot of PG during his in-game 360-degree windmill dunk against the Clippers.
