Here’s the thing: the groundhog normally sees his shadow. 99 of the past 115 recorded Groundhog Days have gone that way resulting in six more weeks of winter. Boomer loves turning a negative into a positive (See: Boomer Redemption), so he decided he would rather fans benefit from the shadow for once.
So what happens if Boomer sees his shadow?
If Boomer sees his shadow, then Pacers fans can get select tickets in the Balcony Level for $6 to home games scheduled over the next six weeks. If he doesn’t see his shadow, then Pacers fans can get the same offer for home games scheduled over the next two weeks.
How do I know if Boomer sees his shadow?
On Feb. 2 at 9:00am, Boomer will wake up and immediately step outside. You can watch for yourself on Pacers.com that morning.
What games are included in the offer?
If Boomer sees his shadow, then Pacers fans can purchase tickets for $6 for any home game scheduled through March 14. That includes Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Bobcats, New Orleans Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trailblazers and the Philadelphia 76ers. If Boomer doesn’t see his shadow, then fans can purchase tickets for $6 for any home game scheduled through Feb. 16. That includes Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, and the New Jersey Nets.
