Ticket Prices for 2004-05 Announced
Pacers News Release | July 12, 2004
The Indiana Pacers announced ticket prices for the 2004-05 National Basketball Association season with a 9.7 percent increase on tickets in Conseco Fieldhouse, but with 32 percent of the seats being lower in price and 12 percent remaining the same price.

The latter figure includes the addition of 1,500 $10 seats. Those $10 seats bring the total available to 2,800, the second-highest number in the NBA.

Ticket prices for the upcoming season are: $495; $250; $175; $150; $108; $96; $75; $74; $65; $62; $45; $30; $20 and $10.

The average ticket price (not including suites) for games during the Pacers’ 2004-05 season in Conseco Fieldhouse will be $60.10. Based on last year’s ticket prices in the NBA, that would rank the Pacers 21st out of 29 teams. The Pacers did not raise ticket prices last season for season-ticket holders from the 2002-03 season.

“While we are raising some ticket prices, we also feel we are offering alternatives that appeal to everyone,” said Pacers Sports & Entertainment CEO and President Donnie Walsh. “We’re very price sensitive to our market and its standing in the NBA. Since we moved to Conseco Fieldhouse, we’ve tried to keep prices in check but like most businesses we, too, face increased costs.”

The Pacers last season posted the best record in the NBA at 61-21 that was also the best record in the team’s history. The Pacers won the Central Division, reached the playoffs for the 14th time in the last 15 years and played in the Eastern Conference Finals for the sixth time in the last 11 years, falling to the eventual World Champion Detroit Pistons.
