The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday the signings of their 2013 No. 1 draft pick, Solomon Hill, and free agent guard Donald Sloan to contracts. Per club policy, no terms of the contracts are released.
Hill was the 23rd pick overall in last Thursday’s NBA Draft and is a 6-7 forward from Arizona. He averaged 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game last season as a senior. Sloan is a 6-3 guard who played in 23 NBA games last season (20 with Cleveland, three with New Orleans). He averaged 3.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. He was undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2010.
