Pacers News Release | Dec. 19, 2007
The Indiana Pacers introduced a new social networking site called “My Indiana Pacers,” a new pre-game email termed “Pacers Tip Off” and two new hires in the creative services area.

My Indiana Pacers, available through Pacers.com, will offer exclusive blogs by Pacers player Travis Diener, Pacers.com analyst Conrad Brunner, local blogger Indy Cornrows and a special blog for Pacers fans. The free social networking site will also allow multiple fan discussion forums, fan photo albums, user profile pages, a special calendar of team related events and special polls only for My Indiana Pacers users.

“Pacers Tip Off” is a special email sent on the day of the game and will engage fans by highlighting the probable starters, statistics, series and current trends and exclusive analysis from Pacers personalities. Fans can register for this service at Pacers.com. A sample edition can be viewed by clicking here.

Justin Hunt has joined the Pacers Sports & Entertainment staff as a web producer. Hunt’s duties include managing the promotional and commercial aspects of Pacers.com and FeverBasketball.com, including the homepage for the dance teams, mascots, community relations, Pacers Foundation, ticket and sponsorship sales content. Hunt, a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, has designed, implemented and/or managed websites for the Alpha Xi Delta women’s fraternity, Deborah Wood & Associates, Sinister Autosports and Ambassadair Travel Club.

Jayson Manship joins the organization as the Database Marketing Specialist with primary duties to create and distribute electronic marketing campaigns to various clients, partners and subscribers. With a bachelor’s degree from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University, Manship has worked with Hansen & Horn as a sales consultant. He quickly expanded that role to include managing the customer relationship management software.
