Reports: Bynum in "Serious" Talks With Pacers Staff

February 1, 2014

According to reports from ESPN and Indystar's Candace Buckner, the Pacers met on Friday with former Lakers, Sixers, and Cavs center Andrew Bynum. While the reports say there is no contract in place, the talks are being termed "serious".

"(Bynum) has not signed as yet," Lee told IndyStar's Buckner on Friday night.

Bynum was a key member of the Lakers team as recently as 2011-12 when he averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game before knee problems sidelined him. He was traded to the Sixers before the 2012-13 season in exchange for Andre Iguodala, but never saw any playing time with them as he recuperated. He then signed with the Cavs as an unrestricted free agent prior to this season before being released after 24 games.
